When I dine out, I am all about receiving great service.  I had in mind that I wanted to enjoy a tasty dinner in the Meat Packing District.
I went to Fig and Olive and I was quite disappointed. My server decided to take over 30 minutes to greet the table….which is the first red flag! 
Secondly, our order came out wrong…second red flag! I found myself pouring and filling up my own glass of San Pellegrino because the server was nowhere to be found. 
At the end of my meal, I wanted dessert… The server disappeared off the face of the earth, so we had no choice but to put the order in with the host. I expressed my frustrations about my dining experience, and the host treated it like a causal matter and asked if I wanted tea! Hmmm…. not the best response!  The table next to us complained about the service as well, so I had a heart to heart with the other guests, and it turned into a bit of a venting session… 
Overall…  I am not going to get burned twice! I will not be going back to Fig and Olive…if I had to rate the service they received an EPIC “F”
